Swimming with the Fishes

Colorado got hit with a pretty big storm last week that had Jackson and me stuck inside for a few days.



So we were thrilled when Jackson's Mimi (aka Nancy) invited us to the aquarium on Friday, the first day of "the thaw."

This was Jackson's first trip to the aquarium, and he loved it! As we were walking through, I realized it was pretty much a giant crib soother. Jackson has a little rainforest/aquarium toy that plays soft music and has fish floating around, and we use a white noise machine that sounds like rain when he goes to sleep. He was in his element.

He really liked the sea turtles.

And they had a tiger!
